A hallmark of CHIME’s success has been a close collaborative relationship with the H.I.S.
vendor and consulting community. The CHIME Foundation was formed by CHIME’s Board in 1994.
Incorporated as a separate nonprofit organization, the Foundation was structured to support
CHIME’s programs and activities. In 1994, fifteen firms stepped forward to become the
Foundation’s first group of member firms. The Foundation Board of Directors, chaired
annually by the past chairman of CHIME, has established a set of educational activities
and surveys designed to promote collaboration between the Foundation and members of CHIME.

Partner with 1,300+ Healthcare CIOs and CMIOs on Understanding the Impact of the HITECH Act
As part of the $787 billion Stimulus Plan signed on 2/17/09, the federal government has agreed to more than $19 billion in HIT spending over the next few years. Is your firm currently directing marketing funds to other healthcare IT associations/conferences in hopes that it might be recognized by your target audience? Take the guess work out of who is maybe picking up on your firm’s message.
CHIME and the CHIME Foundation are the only organizations that exclusively represent the interests of the healthcare CIO, and we are committed to helping our members take advantage of this historic opportunity.
The CHIME Foundation guarantees a targeted, captive audience of qualified healthcare CIOs and CMIOs interested in having a continued positive impact on the industry. With 2009/2010 forecasted to be some of the industry’s most challenging years to date, can your firm really afford to pass up the opportunity to maximize its exposure amongst the c-suite executives that are purchasing/implementing your products and services?
Contact kcleary@cio-chime.org and schedule your meeting with CHIME Foundation executive staff to discuss membership opportunities for your firm.
